We developed the KF function testing device to test electronics products. The KF is a portable mechatronics test station with standardised development layout that can be easily configured for the testing task's specific requirements. It is designed for testing 1,000 - 20,000 specimens per year.
Its hardware consists of 19” input boards that are integrated in one case with a needle bed adapter. Stimuli and measuring boards aligned with the specimens are projected around the central control PCB and may be adjusted quickly, if required. The measuring and control components are isolated for up to 4KV, which makes measuring possible at any voltage. All test-related files (testing programs, log files, serial number management, etc.) are saved to the internal control PCB and may be easily recalled and edited from a network.
The KF is usually much more cost-efficient than traditional testing stations. This is due to its modular build, which is reduced to the crucial elements. In addition to this, Kellendonk Elektronik consciously did not use expensive case components for the KF function testing device's design. Placing the testing electronics right below the needle bed makes wiring easy and quick.
